Getting Started
Follow this starter path to download the client, connect, and learn the core systems that make The NexusVerse shine. Keep this page open while you hop in for your first session.

Download the client
Use the button above (or the sidebar) to grab the latest Nexus client.

Create your character
- Pick a class identity that fits your vibe (see the four archetypes below).
- Name your character, choose a look you like, and lock in a strong account password.
- Skim your starter spells/skills so your early keybinds feel natural.

Your first 15 minutes
- Log in with the info above and tune your hotkeys, camera zoom, and UI scale.
- Grab starter supplies (pots, ammo, runes) from the first vendor before leaving town.
- Clear nearby Tier 1 creatures to reach early levels and get a feel for combat speed.
- Try a harvesting/woodcutting node to see how gathering feeds into loot tiers.
- Slot any early augments you find and note how they change your rotation.
- Follow the main road to a safe hunting loop and learn enemy telegraphs.
- Hop in Discord if you want a duo for your first dungeon or if something feels off.

Skills
- Progression comes from use and smart training—focus early on your main weapon path and defenses.
- Buffs and augments scale better when your core skill is at benchmark breakpoints.
- Keep a small stash of training ammo/runes to level while waiting for parties.
Monsters
- Expect ambient/zone-based spawning—watch for density spikes when events roll.
- Skulls or glow effects hint at elites; pull them carefully or kite into open space.
- Carry a few potions for cleanse/heal windows to survive burst phases.
Key Features
- Harvesting/woodcutting feeds crafting and unlocks better consumables.
- Tiered loot with ambient drops and zone tables—higher danger means higher roll quality.
- Augments plug into gear for tailored builds; experiment early to find your groove.
- World feels alive with weather, events, and rotating spawn moods.
Loot & Economy
- Keep augments, rare mats, and crafting reagents; sell bulk commons for quick gold.
- Vendors handle basics; higher-tier trades happen through players or the auction house.
- When unsure, ask in Discord before vendoring something that drops rarely.
FAQ
Download the client, open it, and follow the launcher/server list. If you need specifics, see the Connect page in the nav for the latest details.
Pick one of the four classes, choose your look/name, and confirm your starting kit. Your first log-in places you in the starter area with beginner supplies.
Choose the playstyle you enjoy most: Axiom (measured, shielded caster), Fluxborn (mobile skirmisher), Verdant (sustaining hybrid), or Null (control/anti-magic). You can make alts to try them all.
Begin in the starter town, stock up, then follow the main road to the closest Tier 1 hunting loop. Stay near guards until you’re comfortable with movement and spell timing.
If you’re stuck, log out and back in, then check Discord for live help. If it’s a map bug, share the tile/location and what led to it so staff can reproduce and fix quickly.
Keep augments and rare materials, sell bulk commons to vendors for gold, and save wood/ore/herbs for crafting. Use the auction house or Discord to move anything with good tiers.
You can solo Tier 1-2 loops comfortably; grouping speeds up XP and loot, and helps you learn class synergies. Join Discord voice for the best first-dungeon experience.
